ONE DAY WORKSHOP
From start to finish learn to make a matcha bowl for your home. Learn hand building techniques in a boutique experience at The Haunt in West Asheville.
The experience includes a glass of wine, charcuterie, and a guided lesson in the ways of clay.
Your Matcha Bowl will be glazed, fired, and shipped to you in 2-4 weeks.

What to Expect
Taylor-Rae Yarrow is the instructor and founder of Community Ceramics and leads all One Day Workshops at The Haunt. Taylor-Rae is a kind teacher and believes that all people have the power to harness a creative practice and learn new skills. She has truly always loved teaching hands on learning.

Everyone will arrive and get settled in, find their seat. We will go around in a circle and introduce ourselves, maybe share a fun fact or two!

We will begin the lesson and start with hand building techniques. I will show you the fundamentals of making and shaping.

The lesson will take form in me walking around and looking over everyone’s work to help guide the process and answer any and all questions! ask as many as you like, they are encouraged!

We will start cleaning up around 7:15! attendees will have 10% off anything in the shop to take home a little piece of The Haunt home.

We will say our goodbyes and maybe snap a cute group picture!
