Taylor-Rae Yarrow is an Appalachian folk artist. Finding her voice in the outsider art and freak folk scenes across the continent, it is there that the inspiration for Community Ceramics was born. A space for the self taught, the stories that must be told, and those dedicated to craft. Taylor-Rae has lived in nearly every corner of the so called U.S and spent time on many of its backroads laughing with friends and experiencing phenomenal nature. Deeply inspired by the profound beauty and power of the Earth is where she seems to find solace the most.

Community is where the heart is, it is how we survive. Her passion for inclusion and dreaming of a world where creative expression builds strength in the face adversity is a driving force behind Community Ceramics.

Her classes are centered around being from Appalachia, finding strength in the personal journey, and of course the craft itself.
